Auf einem Rastplatz werden Semir und Kim Krüger Zeuge einer Entführung. Als das Opfer sich selbst befreien kann und zu den Polizisten läuft, wird der Mann erschossen. Bei der Verfolgungsjagd können die Täter entkommen. Die anschließenden Ermittlungen bringen Semir und Ben auf die Spur einer Bande, die ein ungewöhnliches Verbrechen plant, das nur während der vier Minuten einer Sonnenfinsternis stattfinden kann! Nicolas Pesch, ein ehemaliger Schulfreund von Ben, stand mit den Tätern zufällig in Kontakt und kann den beiden daher wichtige Informationen liefern. Semir und Ben wissen trotzdem weder, was die Bande plant noch, wo der Coup stattfinden soll. Die Gangster wollen um jeden Preis verhindern, dass die Polizei ihnen so kurz vor dem geplanten Coup noch auf die Spur kommt und in diesem Zusammenhang wird Bens Freund Nico plötzlich zum entscheidenden Faktor.
